How to detect a bad stabilizer linkage.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, Let's MAKE OUR ROADS A SAFE HEAVEN THIS SEASON BY PRACTICING SAFE DRIVING ETHICS.

Today's topic will help us shed more light on small but vital components of our car suspension system, the stabilizer linkage and its function in an automobile.

WHAT IS A CAR STABILIZER LINK.
A stabilizer link is a single rodlike connector that binds the various cars suspension components that are exposed to imperfect road conditions (pot holes), stabilizer links are very vital suspension components responsible for holding the entire suspension system intact severe road conditions

FUNCTIONS OF A STABILIZER LINK.
A stabilizer link or sway bar is important to a car,s suspension for several reasons, the stabilizer link is responsible for balancing, it should prevent the car from not swaying too much while it's caught up in poor road conditions which could ultimately lead to loss of control, another vital function of the stabilizer link is to improve proper handling and  further reduce shock absorption, it won't be out of place to look towards the stabilizer link when faced with steering problems.

HOW TO DETECT A BAD STABILIZER LINK.
Knowing you have a bad stabilizer link isn't a far-fetched scenario faulty stabilizer links can come in several manners like creaking and screeching sounds in bad road conditions, wobbling effects, loss of control while in motion and steering dead zone, all these signs are clear indications of a bad stabilizer link.

Knowing when to have a look at your car linkages is one sure way of having your entire suspension system go all the way and last for longer.

As we celebrate this season it's imperative to consider other road users as we ply the express and highways,  SEASON GREETINGS.
