Honda next gen race truck
Honda unveiled the new Ridge line Baja Race Truck today at SEMA, which means Honda is ready to compete in the Baja 1000 again. The big, flashy red truck is driven by a twin-turbo V-6 that will make more than 550-hp.
What's also cool is that this truck actually sets the stage for Honda's upcoming second-gen Ridgeline truck. Car and Driver called the first-gen Ridgeline, begun in 2005, "a new type of utility vehicle." It was car-based, so it was maneuverable, agile, and had good ride quality, despite being smaller

Honda says that the 2017 Ridgeline takes many of its styling cues from the Baja Race Truck, including the front facia, hood, roof, bed, and side profiles. Additionally, the race truck even features some production-ready engine components, like the block, heads, and crankshaft—just don't expect your street-spec Ridgeline to kick out 550 twin-turbo horses.
Quite breathtaking i must admit.
