Hmm, its relatively difficult to distinguish which brand is superior to the other given the outstanding performance of these two products, the Volkswagen Tiguan and the Honda CRV are two different concepts that have made resounding statements amongst a poll of today,s cross vehicles, known for their well spaced and cozy interiors, excellent drivability experience and superb off-road abilities, there is little or nothing to really distinguish this two Trojans of the road.

In the weight of all these seemingly astonishing qualities we have
to find a way to set apart these two super heavyweight light SUVs, S pound for pound just to establish plain text car facts about these vehicles and to further constitute a basis for options when faced with the dilemma of selecting one out of these two vehicles.

INTERIOR AND DESIGN

This aspect practically tells two different stories of the Tiguain and the CRV, while the former is known for its simplicity and easy-to-handle features, the latter gets a swipe for being too complex for an easy everyday user,  the Tiguain is equipped with adequate interior space capable of seating around five adults at a go with an additional 470 liters of booth space, an extra cushion to this is the ability to slide the rear seat either forward or backward in order to provide enough leg room for the occupants of the rear seat.

On the other hand, the CRV is considered even more spacious, with much more comfortable seats and a wide range of adjustments and positions for the rear seats, taller passengers can as well feel at home even on long-distance trips, the CRV is equipped with 589 liters of luggage space which is expandable to a considerable 1,648 liters to accommodate more baggage's

FINAL SCORE; The Honda seems to be superior in this aspect given its superior boot size and seat adjustments.

ENGINE CHOICE

There are several choices of engines for both brands, the Honda CRV is equipped with three choices of engines 2,0 petrol, 2.2, and 1.6-liter diesel engines, the diesel options are much more favored when it involves fuel economy and maximum low torque, while the 2.0 petrol engine is clear cut for a smooth and quiet drive all the way.

The Tiguan on the other hand is spoilt with a lot of engine choices down the line, most notably diesel engines with the most potent version the 2.0  TDI which combines an amazing 184hp with 50 mpg

FINAL SCORE: The  Tiguain gets the upper hand in this instance given its array of choices.

DRIVE

Both cars offer virtually the same driving experience, with little or no difference, for the Tiguan the handling has more emphasis on safety rather than performance while the CRV has its strong points on the whole experience rather than just one particular aspect the CRV offers some bit of comfort, predictability, and handling.

FINAL SCORE: Against the backdrop of these comparisons it's fit to give the CRV a fairly upper hand in these cases just because it has got some bit of everything.

STYLING

Styling is an integral part of the story, while the Tiguain  maintains its golf-like looks and perfect styling, the
Honda CRV appears a lot more refined and stylish given its much longer history in the SUV market segment, with a lot more refinement and design to the latest edition of the CRV its safe to conclude that it appears much more appealing than the Tiguain  which is expected to be a lot more refined, re-modified and restructured when a new model comes underway,

FINAL SCORE: On current par, the CRV looks a lot more appealing given its stylish looks and aesthetics

FINAL VERDICT: On the backdrop of the above reviews the CRV looks to be more on top in the area of design, and comfort, while performance remains a case to be seen, on this conclusion the CRV slightly edges the Tiguain on current standings and should make a slightly smarter choice for buyers looking at these two variables.
