In a statement released recently a top hierarchy of the Cadillac group has stated that plans were already in place to introduce diesel engine model cars to its production line, he
stated that production of the said vehicle engine would commence in the early part of next decade but would first be launched in Europe before America.
He further stated that the diesel engines would be fitted in smaller cars such as the ATS and the CTS before been tried out on larger models like the escalade.
Cadillac had experimented previously with the diesel engines without success as far back as the early 1980s , it offered a 5.7 litre engine on its Oldsmobile model then which was renowned for engine failure.
