Considering the huge success enjoyed by the electronic card readers during the just concluded general elections in Nigeria,
it seem that different parastatals have opted to adopt the much appraised card reader to their mode of operations.
The Federal Road Safety Corp, the body saddled with the responsibility of making the Nigerian road safe and motorable have decided to begin detection of authentic e drivers license on Nigerian roads with the help of the card readers
The Body Stated that this move was to curb the alarming rates of fake e licenses which is in circulation this will also encourage motorist to subsequently acquire e licenses the proper way and not patronize fake vendors.
